 Captain  Doug Vann was taken by a heart attack at the tender age of 44 in 1978. Heart disease and stroke takes 1 in 3 Canadians before their time and is the number one killer of women. 9 out of 10 Canadians have at least one risk factor for heart disease and stroke.
